Hi,
my name is Dirayanti, a graduate of Hasanuddin University Indonesia. I write
to express my high interest in the master's program in Chemical Engineering at
Chulalongkorn University, Thailand where I can broaden my substantial experience
in the chemical research project. I will combine it with my knowledge which can
be of particular benefit to my future.
I
lived in Sidrap Regency, South Sulawesi with my parents and four siblings. In
2016, I wandered to Makassar city and was announced as an undergraduate student in the chemistry department, Hasanuddin University. During my campus, I spent two
years early studying chemical theory and found a special topic about Microbial
Fuel Cells (MFCs) which motivated me to study any kind of literature for two
years left. This topic was really interesting when I was winning some of the
national competitions. The excitement I got myself pursuing the real
application of MFCs through studying chemical engineering.
The
research of chemical engineering has highly developed in Thailand which
produced many technologies in their industry. Currently, there are some
universities in Thailand including one of the best universities in the field of
chemical engineering. Chulalongkorn University has one of the most highly
ranked chemical engineering departments as well. Largely, the lecturers graduated from the most famous university in the world, whereas the laboratory
provides the complete chemicals and instruments. It can greatly support the researchers
to finish their research. Furthermore, the presence of The Graduate Scholarship Program Me for ASEAN or Non – ASEAN Countries
Chulalongkorn University makes me more excited to study master’s degree at
Chulalongkorn University.
I
will chase my master’s degree in Chemical Engineering Chulalongkorn University.
Based on my study plan according to the table, I devise staying in Thailand for
two years. It means that I should complete four school-terms plans.

In
the first year, I would like to put the most effort into recognizing the core courses
of chemical engineering. Besides, I will choose Professor Suttichai
Assabumrungrat or Dr. Amornchai Arpornwichanop as my supervisor for my research
and follow all his discussion groups. I begin to examine a lot of literature
that relates to my research background. I will take the courses related to my
research for supporting the basic theory of Microbial Fuel Cells, such as
biochemical and bioreactor of fuel cells. At this time, I will purpose my seminar.
The
second-year will be spent in the laboratory. Even though I followed some
courses about the theory of bio-plastic for expanding my fundamental knowledge
of this research, I must be able to finish my graduate research under the
instruction of my supervisor. I must complete the thesis and publish them with international journal accreditation.
Confidently,
I believe that studying at Chulalongkorn University will make my mindset out of
the box in any problem. I will try every opportunity, solve the problems, and
hold responsible risks.

I suggest you to submit your documents minimal 1 bulan sebelum penutupan beasiswa, karna pengiriman berkas hardcopy butuh waktu lama... semangat berjuang teman-teman
